Terms of Service & User Agreement

Acknowledgement & Binding Agreement
By booking an appointment, purchasing a package, or using any service ("Service" or "Appointment") provided by Rite To Be You, LLC (“Company”, “I”, “we”, or “us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement. The term “you” refers to anyone who uses, visits, and/or views our website or utilizes our services.
Legal Disclaimer & Nature of Relationship

You explicitly acknowledge that coaching and mentoring services are not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, medical treatment, or financial/legal advice. You are solely responsible for your own well-being, decisions, and actions both during and after the mentoring sessions. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or severe emotional distress, please seek immediate help from a licensed professional.
All services ("service" or "appointment") provided by the company are for informational, educational, and self-improvement purposes only. They are designed to support your personal growth and development by facilitating self-reflection, providing guidance, and offering a new perspective. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health condition or other medical illness.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or severe emotional distress, please seek immediate help from a licensed professional.

No Client-Patient Relationship: We do not provide mental health diagnoses, clinical interventions, or medical treatment. I am not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional. Our services do not replace the care of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, or physicians.

Client Responsibility: You assume full, 100% responsibility for your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, as well as all decisions, actions, and results resulting from the coaching relationship.

No Guarantees: You acknowledge that we make no absolute promises, guarantees, or warranties regarding specific outcomes, earnings, or behavioral changes.

Personal Information & Data Security
By requesting an appointment or using a service, you consent to being contacted by Rite To Be You, LLC via email, phone, video, voicemail, or text. By submitting our forms, you agree to the processing of your personal information and session data for the administrative and scheduling purposes of this practice. This information is kept strictly confidential and will only be viewed or utilized by team members within this practice to facilitate your services, unless disclosure is required by law.

Eligibility and Age Requirement (18+ only)
Rite To Be You, LLC is committed to providing services to individuals who are of the legal age to enter into a binding contract. By accessing and using our services, you represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess the legal capacity to agree to these terms. Any misrepresentation of age may result in the immediate termination of services and forfeiture of any fees paid.

Payment, Scheduling, and Financial Policies

Upfront Payment: Full payment is required at the time of scheduling to secure your appointment spot.

Accepted Methods: We accept Credit Cards, PayPal, and major digital wallets.

Strict Cancellation & No-Refund Policy: All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to buyer's remorse, client cancellations, no-shows, or late arrivals.

Rescheduling, Late Arrivals, and No-Shows

The 24-Hour Rule: You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours in advance of your original appointment time at no additional charge.

Late Notice & Forfeiture: Requests to reschedule or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice will be treated as a "no-show," and your full payment for that session will be forfeited.

Portal Management: Clients with a user profile can manage sessions directly via the client portal. Guest checkouts must email hello@ritetobeyou.com to request changes.

Late Arrivals: If you are running late, please notify us immediately. Your appointment time will still end at the originally scheduled time to avoid impacting other clients.

Exceptions: Any exceptions to this policy for true emergencies are made at our sole and absolute discretion on a case-by-case basis via hello@ritetobeyou.com.

Substitution & Delivery Clause
​
We reserve the right to convert any in-person session into an online video session if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, illness, severe weather, or professional judgment. We will notify you in advance if this change is required.

Non-transferability and Guest Attendance
Sessions are strictly non-transferable and are reserved exclusively for the original client who purchased the services. Sessions cannot be reassigned, gifted, or shared with another individual to use in your absence.
However, if you are engaged in couples coaching, or situations where bringing a guest is directly relevant to the work (such as a partner, family member, or key stakeholder), additional participants may attend a scheduled session to support your progress, provided you obtain written approval at least 24 hours in advance.

Approved guests must independently review and agree to the Guest Attendance Agreement prior to entering the session. You assume responsibility for ensuring your guest completes this requirement.

Client Engagement & Respectful Conduct
​
Clients are expected and required to actively participate in sessions, provide truthful and accurate information, and maintain a respectful demeanor. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, harassing, threatening, or inappropriate behavior. Violation of this conduct policy will result in immediate removal from the session and termination of services without a refund.

Technology, Systems, and Internal Records
​
For online video sessions, you are entirely responsible for securing a reliable internet connection and functional hardware (e.g., a working camera and microphone). We reserve the right to utilize secure digital systems, transcription software, or electronic devices during sessions solely for internal note-taking, administrative record-keeping, and internal quality assurance purposes.

Termination for Any Reason
​
We reserve the right to terminate the professional coaching relationship or deny services to any individual at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. Likewise, you may terminate your coaching relationship with us at any time by providing written notice to hello@ritetobeyou.com.

If We Terminate: If we terminate the relationship mid-package for convenience, a pro-rated refund for any remaining, un-rendered sessions will be issued to you.

If You Terminate: If you choose to terminate the relationship early, all payments made remain strictly non-refundable, and any outstanding balance for sessions already delivered remains due immediately.

Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that Rite To Be You, LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from your use of our services or any decisions you make following the use of our services. By using these services, you agree to release and hold Rite To Be You, LLC, its employees, owners, and any affiliates harmless from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) that may arise from or in connection with your use of its services. In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the total amount of money you actually paid to us for the specific services in question. You agree to indemnify Rite To Be You, LLC, its employees and owners, and any affiliates from any claim brought against me by any third party arising out of your actions or participation. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or legal fees arising out of your breach of this agreement.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Rite To Be You, LLC is registered. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of this contract that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled through binding arbitration or inside the courts of our local jurisdiction, and you waive your right to a jury trial or participation in class-action lawsuits.
